    Power Pole mounting stud

    Hi All!

I noticed one of my studs that connect my power pole to my bracket seems to be stripped and is just spinning and will not get tight. Anyone else ever have this problem? All three other studs and nuts are tight.

I am moving this weekend back to GA, and will lose my local shop that could probably fix it. I am just wondering how intensive it is to fix, and if it is something that I could do. (I am mechanically inclined).

Had the same happen when I installed my power poles. Used hardware from the local hardware store. First lock nut got seized on the bolt and ended up putting a socket on each end with breaker bars and snapped the bolt. Called power pole and got the correct hardware.

Look under your pole and write down the serial number then call JL Marine. They will give the best advice and probably parts as well.
