I have a 300R that started and ran fine off the trailer. 15 minutes in to fishing today it had a intermittent beep go off and it reduced power and wouldn’t stay running. When it did run it would drop 400rpm and miss so hard it sounded like a pro stock car with a big cam. No other weird noises or sounds. The beeps would be 3-4 beeps and go off. The crazy thing is the boat would beep with the battery disconnected.

The boat currently doesn’t have a SmartCraft gauge. It will next week but doesn’t now

- Serial number is inaccurate. Will be formatted: Digit, Letter, Six Digits (examples: 2B123456, 3B123456).
4 beep warning is a NON-CRITICAL warning. It means to proceed safely back to port and get the engine to an Authorized Dealer for Diagnosis/Repair. DON'T continue running the engine more than necessary to accomplish this as the PCM is recording how long the engine is run AND how many times/how long it was in an ACTIVE Guardian condition.
The key should NEVER be on when the battery is disconnected. NEVER.
