    Hello,

    MERCURY 3.0 LITER 250XS OPTIMAX DFI V6 2-STROKE
    SN-0T652483
ProXS has a Gen-2 Torquemaster Gearcase, with a 1.25" diameter propshaft.

Trying to find part number for
    Fill Screw-
    Vent Screw-
    Washer-
Not sure if takes blue or Yellow washer.Currently has the Yellow washer.
Want to make sure that is the correct washer.

Also how do you make sure it get the screws tight enough.
    Thank You!

Blue or yellow seals are ok. The yellow ones are the newest and are easier to take off in my opinion.

Send Rhonda at European Marine an email for part quotes or look at the parts list by serial number at European Marine’s website.

If the vent screw sealing surface on the lower unit is smooth, yellow, if not, fiber (blue).

BTW- this engine should NEVER be equipped with a Gen-2 TM Gearcase for SAFETY REASONS.

How do you tell if this is a Gen2? Mercury had replaced LU in March of 2019.I know it has the larger shaft 1.25"
    Thanks

Gen-2 is Silver, and has a small "wing" (fin) that starts in front of the gearcase, running almost to the side water inlets.

So, what is the recommended sealing washer to use? I'm not sure we ever really answered that question.
