    18 VMAX SHO 200

Does this model motor have two fuel filters? I've looked on parts diagram and only see one filters unless I'm overlooking something.

    Thanks

You should have two filters one at the tank and one in the front of the Eng . It takes a special round toothed tool that attaches to a 3/8 ratchet handle .

I do this every year on my 18 SHO. There's an engine mounted filter on the front. 10mm bolts to remove the bracket protecting the filter holder. Then, after disconnecting the water sensor wire coming off the bottom of it (connector is a little further to the right, kind of a pain in the ass), you can unscrew the plastic filter holder by hand, making sure to carefully "unwind" the wire at the same time so it doesn't get damaged. Then drop the holder and remove filter (there's an o-ring at top of filter). The second filter you mention would be the water separator filter in battery compartment. Hope this helps....

I didn't know that...How often does that need changing?
