    Problem with Daiwa steez

I have two Daiwa Steez 103 HA reels, both have developed a problem with the magnetic cast control. Research leads me to believe there's a problem with the ring on the spool. Problem is Daiwa has discontinued the spool and doesn't sell parts separately. Is there a after market spool available for these reels?

Any 34mm daiwa spool ( theres tons of them) fits that reel. Parts for the spool can be sourced depending on whats damaged. I.e inductor, ramp, etc.

Bryan aka "Spanky" at The Tackle Trap is a Daiwa expert. He will go over the options you have and most of the time, TT has the parts in stock to resolve the issue. Give him a call at 256 281 6160.

Send them to Spanky for a clean, tune, and ZPI spool bearings. They’ll come back better than new
