    echomap plus 93sv vs ecomap UHD 93sv

    Hello,
    My new boat came with a Plus 93sv on the dash. The boat did not come with a bow mounted fish finder so I purchased a Echomap UHD 93sv. I have a force trolling motor so I will not be using the transducer that came with the UHD is it worth swapping the transduce that currently on the boat that came with the plus?

    Swap ducer with what other ducer?? What ducer is with the 93 Plus and what ducer came with the UHD unit?? The swap depends on what particular ducers you have.

    The boat currently has a GT52 and I will have an extra GT54UHD not used. Is it worth it to plug the GT54 in to the Plus 93sv?

    Yes....it is better than the GT52 but just know that you will not get the UHD frequencies from the GT54. Basically when plugged to the Plus 93, you will only have 455 for side vu and 840 down vu.

    I would recommend using the uhd and gt54 at the console and put the original unit on the bow

    The one that comes on the Force is the GT54..
