1999 200 EFI prop shaft oil seal orientation

I'm changing out the oil seals in the bearing carrier and want to be certain that I am orienting them correctly. Does the flat (chrome) piece face in on the first one in and out on the last so the hollow parts are touching Or do they sit back to back with the flat parts touching each other?
