I have a 2013 e tech that we are replacing lower unit. When it can apart it was tight pulling the shit rod down. Now we cannot get the new lower unit on because the rod hits at the top of hole.
mechanic thinks the shift arm tube is broke and want to disassemble center points.
Anyone have issue with rod not going back In place?
