    When?

For you guys in CT or Western MA, what date do you generally take your boats out of Winter storage?

And after that, those freezing nights don't hurt your boat?

Just have to drain L/U, livewells and bilge. Been storing glass boats outside since '87. If you don't trust the livewell plumbing to drain completely, pour in a couple of cups of RV (non-toxic) antifreeze.

I fish my boat till the water turns hard and start again as soon as I can put her back in without breaking too much ice. My boat is stored outside and i have never had a problem I trim my motor down so all the water runs out and I added a T inline for the water pressure guage so it doesn't freeze. Been doing this for almost 30 yrs no problems.Charge the batteries every month and treat the fuel and good to go

Wow your doing better than me my friend, been struggling for some lately and the tourney weights are extremely low...lol A tourney on Billington Sea won with 5 fish for 7.42lbs and Peters pond 3 fish for 4.28lbs and even Webster 5 for 15 and change so it hasn't been on fire here yet Mashpee had one on sat with 11 and change to win ....
