I have a TR20 and I have the 47. It is plenty big. In fact, I fish a lot of shallow water down here and it is actually a bit long for me. I cannot raise it enough.

Be prepared to eat up props…..used mine for the first time today and broke the tip off the prop. Haven’t broke a Minn Kota prop in 20 years. The Lowrance prop is VERY brittle.

Go with the 52". Ladies say a few extra inches make the difference right? Depends on what kinda water you fish, big waves =longer shaft. Def buy a few extra props cause they sh!t. Other than that is a pretty sweet tm.

Funny you say that as Lowrance must make more money from their props than their trolling motors. In that case don't ever expect them to change their design or composites.

All trolling motor props are interchangeable. I use a MK prop when I know I'm going to be in really skinny water.

The stock prop will never fail you fishing the great lakes. I'm still using the original prop (4yrs) and I fish a lot of rivers

I've got a 55" in a 186 and it's NEVER come out of the water ever from giant wake boat waves. It's overkill tbh, you'd be alright with a 47

I have a TR21x2 and have the 47, it is plenty. I fish shallow and I fish Lake Ontario. Like everyone said, it is a great TM, but the props are shit. Have a spare or two on the boat at all times. It's an 11/16th socket to change them

Think I'm going with the 47. I was going to get the 52 inch to swap in if I bought a small deep v but I think they take the 60".
