    05 225 hpdi beeping

    Down at the lake and my 225 hpdi and in neutral it has a constant beep bug when in fear no beeping. It’s pulling oil and the water pressure is good. Anyone have a similar issue or possibly know what could be the cause?

    By fear I suspect that you mean forward. I hope so.

    Check the water separating fuel filter for the presence of water. If no water, unplug the connector at the bottom of the filter cup. See if the beeping goes away.

    Thank you. Finally got around to pulling off the fuel/water separator and the fuel filter and both had water in them. Guess I got $180 worth of bad gas.
