Adding a second HDS12 Live at console

I currently have a HDS12 Live at my dash and am considering adding a second one. Hopefully this is not a stupid question, but what do I need (electrical/wiring/etc) to accomplish this? Do I have to run a separate/new power cable to the battery or can I tap in to the existing power run that's on the existing HDS Live? Do I need anything special to link the new HDS to the existing HDS (i.e. so to run it off the same 3/1 transducer that's mounted at the transom)?

all depends what gauge wire that runs to your FF and you need ethernet cable to share transducers
