Bravo or Fury 4 on 921 Elite w/ Mercury 4S

Really enjoying my new 921 Elite, like alot! Came with a 23P Fury.

I have read some old posts about preferences for 4 Blade and handling and such. I am not about the top end but more about handling and ride.

Which 4 blade, the Fury 4 or Bravo are you running and what pitch?

I tried my 24 Bravo on my 921 Elite and it was nowhere as good a performer vs my 24 Fury 3 blade.

    Chris,
What speeds are you getting with the 23? I'm in Az and only turning 5800 with a 23. I turn 5600 with a 24 but the speeds are similar 68-70. I'd like to get around 6k and see what the boat can do.

I am barely past the break in, but with the 23 P and a light load so far, I am turning 5800-5900 and getting 70-71.

Keep in mind the Bravo pitching is a little different for some reason. A Bravo 26 XS is about the same as a Fury 4 24 pitch.

I generally run a 24p Fury 4 on my 921 Pro XP w/4XS but also have a 24p Fury 3. I like the handling of the Fury 4 on river system I fish a lot. Speed is 69-72. Fury 3 will get to 74 but I have to drive it a little more and it doesn’t matter as much on the smaller bodies of water I typically fish. If I fished larger reservoirs I’d probably run the 3 blade.

Generally a bravo suits the phoenix hulls better than the fury 4. Fury 4 lifts the stern quite a bit and causes the hull to slap waves and chop vs cut through.

I've never noticed any slap with the numerous Fury 4's I've run but I also run them on a PHX 21.
