Securement of factory terminal block (strip)

2004 Pantera Classic here, terminal strip attached to inside transom behind main battery...removed both end screws but will not become free. Is there silicone or similar holding on, or ??? Thanks in advance, Mike

Mine was stuck on my 2007 Sabre. I tapped it a couple of times on the end with a rubber mallet and it popped right off. No adhesive on the back.

Hammer didn't work, chipped the one end, afraid I'll break it further. Perhaps BCB will chime in, or I'll purchase a new one and mount near old.

It should just release as they are only screwed in.

Someone may have put silicone or equivalent in the past. Im pretty sure BCB sells this block. On a 04 model if the block hasn't been maintained through the years probably not a bad ideal to just replace it

It should be a stainless steel part and screws.
