RIGHT PROP FOR 2023 MERCURY PRO XS 4STROKE

Well, I blew up my 2000 Mercury Optimax 225 (crack in crank case). I blew up the rebuilt 2006 Mercury Pro XS 250 (#4 connecting rod thru block). So, I'm repowering with a brand new 2023 Mercury Pro XS 250 Four Stroke. I'm having a hard time deciding what prop to run. I'm leaning towards a 4 blade Mercury Bravo I FS Pro 24 pitch. My original Opti 225 ran a Trophy Plus 25 pitch 4 blade and I could run 76 mph at 5600 rpm with partner. I still have that prop and it's in excellent shape. No dings. Been worked a few times. Most info I have received has been about a Fury 3 blade in 23 pitch for this motor, no data. The 2006 Pro XS 250 never ran like I thought it should, so I don't have accurate data on that motor with my prop. The only data I have on that engine with my prop was 66 mph at 5500 rpm. I do carry 20 rods and to much tackle. 45 gallon tank, and I think the boat weighs 1440 lbs. Partner and myself average 500 lbs. The new engine I think weighs in at 512 lbs. 20 week wait on new motor so I have time to research props. replace carpet, seats, dash and work on gel coat. Please share what you know or have heard. Did you post this on the Mercury 4 stroke forum? You may get additional info from members that may have used this motor on a Champion or Legend, which have very similar hulls.
From what I have heard, you may need to prop down 1 pitch, but since you already have the prop, I would do some testing with the 25" Trophy+ once you have the engine on the boat getting some baseline numbers to give you guidance.
