    Rubber seal on hatches

Where can I get the soft round rubber tube, that fits on the top of the storage areas, that the lids/hatches seals down on to keep water out?
Also what type of sealant is best to seal the rubber tube down when replacing it?
I have several rubber seals to replace on my friends 2004 Triton. Because they have shrunk and are falling off.
    All help appreciated.
    Thanks

I think he's referring to the adhesive backed rubber gasket that would adhere to the surface of the compartment opening and seal against the underside of the compartment lid. Good question. I'm looking for some myself

Best adhesive to secure it, in my opinion, is 3M Weather Stripping Adhesive. If you have not used weather-stripping adhesive before, watch "How to Apply it the Right Way" before you make the mistake of applying it the wrong way.

TIP: Use masking tape to keep the adhesive only where you want it.

I bought some years ago that slid over the top of the compartment wall that had the seal attached no adhesive needed ,think I got it from Cabela's back then..I'll try to find a pic I think it was bt Trim Loc and maybe what Amazon has they have 2 different style to fit your needs

Most of them have the Trimlok ones on them. It has the black edge guard with the bulb seal adhered on top. That covers the cut edges of the compartments and also water seals to the lids.
Basscat store sells ones that will fit their boats but you would have to measure the diameter of the bulb on your to make sure it matches. Basscats is a much bigger bulb then on my 04 Champ.
