    Trailer Tires

Time to replace my tires for my Triton aluminum boat. Had a blow out yesterday on the way to the lake. What did you guys go back with when replacing. Size ST175/80R13. Thanks!

Are they D rated or C? Different boat and trailer but I finally upgraded to 14-inch D rated and am pleasantly pleased.

C rated is what’s on there. Can’t remember manufacturer. Will check tomorrow when I get home. Luckily I was only ~20 miles from home. Put the spare on and just pulled it back and parked it.

Just did the MAXXIS M8008 last trip from Florida. Nice improvement over the square Carlisies. They don't seem to mind 70 + mph.

Yep. C rated Carlisle is what came on it. They are 6 years old but don’t have many miles on them. Inflated to full cold rated pressure (50 pasig). Been kept parked on concrete in a covered barn. I’m sure age had an impact…..

I replaced my trailer tires last year with the Carlisle Radial Trail HD tires in size ST185/80D13. Ride smooth and so far so good, check pressure day before going out (50 lb.)
