    Fuse block location

Hi Folks I’m going to attempt an install of a Blue Seas fuse block on my 2014 Ranger 620. I only run a Live 9 on the bow and a Live 12 on the console and I just got AT. Wondering where the best spot to mount the block is ? Under the console or further back by my battery compartment ? Thanks for any help

I’m going to say that fuse blocks are typically farther forward, like under the console or in the storage compartment ahead of the console. Reasons? Easy access and a typically drier location. But I am not an electrician.

I put mine under the lid in the locker forward of the console for ease in case of a blown fuse.

HDS 9, Raymarine ES7, Hydrowave at the bow and a Raymarine 9RV Pro at the console. I left the 102c Lowrance in the console as is. The Fuse Block has a indicator light that shows a blown fuse so you don't have to pull each one to see if it is blown. I ran 8ga to the block from the battery and 10ga to each graph. I was getting flashing at the end of the day. NOT anymore after designating to the dedicated fuse block.
