    Mercury 250 pro xs

    RO Engine Serial No: 2B772041
    144 hours, probably about 75 on new powerhead installed October last year
    all service done including impeller
    4 beeps at the end of the day
    diagnostics run and shows

    ..FAULT: Ignition circuit 4 TYPE: ECU problem outputting signal to device..
    any ideas about what Im looking at here?

    Problem with the ignition coil and/or connector- but take note, need to use information from the G3 Diagnostic System and verify the CORRECT ignition coil is checked. Very easy to get off on a rabbit trail and replace the wrong component.

    Dealer said plug wire end was burnt....replaced them all
