The failure of anyone to believe makes me extremely sad, as I know what the outcome will be.

    See also John 14:2-13.

Jesus also ate with His disciples after His death and resurrection.
What about this...after his death and resurrection Jesus was BOTH body and spirit. When we die only our spirit moves forward. Until the end of the world in which our bodies and soul will reunite.
Sacred Heart of Mary, pray for us now, and at the hour of our death. AMEN
O blood and water which gush forth from the heart of Jesus, have mercy on us
For the sake of his sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and the whole world

This is my understanding and the bodies will be our glorified bodies without the frailties of our earthly bodies.

"The first law of thermodynamics expresses that energy can be transformed (i.e. changed from one form to another), but cannot be created or destroyed."

    A very interesting principle.
