    How to clean Powerpoles?

Ive got a white chalky film at and below the waterline on my Powerpole and bracket. No, I dont leave the boat in the water, stays in my garage. Is there anything to use to remove the white/chalky film? I like to keep my stuff looking good.

I wipe mine off with Hot Sauce and it keeps them looking good. If its hard water stain (white residue?) might need to try CLR to clean it then wipe down with Hot Sauce.

Keep them waxed and wipe off after loading with whatever concoction you choose. Lucas quick mist.

I have that all over the poles, jack plate and motor mount. Was wondering how best to remove that scum. I do wipe the poles and spikes down after every trip.

I get SuperClean at WalMart it comes in a purple bottle, sold in automotive. It is fantastic for cleaning scum and all that crap that gets on the boat, poles and jackplate below the waterline.

After you clean it, use a spray wax and shine them up
