Tracker V16 rear deck removal for a swim grid.

    Hello everyone,

reaching out as I’m sure someone has done this already and knows the trick. Hoping to get the rear deck off to install a swim grid but can’t figure out how to remove it. I have removed all the screws but it feels like the two side panels under the gunnels is holding it down still? Any tricks? Removing the side panels would be tough as they hold up the console and the windscreen.

    any help would be awesome!

Really? So nobody has ever taken their back deck off for mounting anything? I’m shocked.

I know on my Tracker V18 Targa, I had to remove the side panels to get the deck off as they are installed on top of the deck. In other words, the deck is locked in by the side panels. But, my boat is not identical to yours.

Thank you for posting. I’ll have to investigate further and post pictures.
