    North wilkesboro speedway

    Back to life. I saw pics and it was sold out tonight. I didn’t realize they had all the stands where it could be open to all fans. Good to see it back to life.

    Dale Earnhardt Jr was running in the late model race last night. Up until last night they had been selling around 10,000 tickets to the races. Last night they sold 18,000. He's still a fan favorite I guess.

    Looks like asphalt races are done based on the schedule I saw only dirt in September.

    Yes, they are removing the asphalt and will race on dirt in late September and October. Then the plan is to re-asphalt the track in prepartions for next year.

    Y son works for a race shop that fielded Chase Burrow. Qualified p26 finished p13. He is only 16 years old and got to race Jr. Pretty cool.
