    Guntersville September 14 through 16

I'm planning a trip up to Guntersville for a few days in September. Just looking for a good head start on what part of the lake to fish. Current idea is to just put in and fish the Goose Pond area. Any tips or leads would be appreciated.

You might want to give a hollar to the Local tackle shops to get some community reports. Because there are tournaments each week it's a tough body of water to get info.

I think you have the right idea. If it were me I would be in the Goosepond area and north. But what do I know..........

Awesome. Thanks alot guys. I've never been on the lake before but have wanted to fish it for years. I know two days isn't long but it's what I've got allotted for it. Thanks again. If you see a black and red Pantera Classic with blades stop and say hi.

Well, bad news is trip is canceled. My time window shrank up on me and I can't convince myself to drive 3 hours just to try to figure it out. I'm pretty fair on eufuala, and it is a lot closer. So guntersville will just have to wait for next year. Thanks guys for all the advice.

That's a great area. Legitimately you could stay in Sturdivant creek and catch fish all day. I live just a few streets over actually.
