Appreciate the heads up, but I wouldn’t be able to buy yours-won’t fit in my right garage with the jackplate and dual axle also is a no go for me. That being said, seems like a great boat that is fairly priced. Good luck with your sale.

Got it...may I ask why no dual trailer? I will never go back to a single after having this dual.

Much more difficult to push it and maneuver back into where it needs to go in my garage. My dad had a Ranger with a dual axle trailer and it was very tough to move around by himself especially when he got older.

Makes sense....there are a ton of people on here that have dual axle trailers and use the wheel dollies to move with ease. Good luck with your search. You will love the boat!

I have a z118 with a jackplate and have measured it for same reason as you and it is 22' 3' with tongue folded back. i did a add a BOAT EFX 4 step and that does stick out past swing point just 2 inches . love the layout but with a 150 hp its a lead sled also have Talons on back so its back end heavy. single axle trailer , former boat dual axle, wish I had nojdetlas boat!!!!!!

I need more garage space also. A Z185 will fit in 20' 10" and still fit a car in the garage...

Guys-thx again for all your input and especially appreciate BlueRanger-z518 for measuring your rig. I traded in my Triton today for a new 2022 Ranger z518 with the 200 Merc PROXS. I measured it; dealer measured it-looks like 21’7” is pretty accurate and I should be able to easily fit it in my garage. Pick it up Friday!

Question for those with a z518 and the Merc PROXS 200 and no jackplate….my motor came with a 22p 3-blade Fury prop. The PVS holes are complete open with no plugs. What PVS plugs are you guys using for your rigs? I feel like I’ve read that these motors like the PVS holes completely plugged but wanted to check with you guys.

start with all open-- mine came the same way, inside the box of stuff for the boat was included plugs to adjust it. did you get a plastic ammo type box full of the little stuff for the boat like keys, paperwork and such? mine were inside that box. the 4s does need venting it seems

I did get a black ammo box that had those items in it. I didn’t realize the 4s motors like venting. I’ll try all open just like the boat came first time out.

where you at in Ohio? i have a 23p and you have a 22p, if another size is needed to try out maybe??

no jackplate at all? I would measure prop to pad and see where it is at? needs to be about 3-3.1/4 below pad
