Just remember there are different types of marabou. Wooly bugger marabou is short, you don't want that. Blood quill is good if you want to palmer the feather as the stem is very thin. If you are going to strip the fibers off the stem then extra select marabou is the best, and most expensive. The thing is the extra select is long so you won't have to worry about length.
