    Which Lake

    Wanting to make reservations for next year end of July for a week. Trying to decide which lake for Smallmouth's and Walleye's. The 2, I have pick are Pelican or Leech. Which one would you pick and why. Help me decide.

    I've never fished Pelican, but have heard plenty good things about it.

    I don't think you can go wrong with either. Leech has better largemouth fishing...if you're into frogs and such.

    You'll do MUCH better for walleyes on Leech.

    Smallies it's a horse apiece, but neither would be my choice as a smallie destination.

    If you're looking for both species, I'd skip both and go to Vermilion or Mille Lacs.
