    LOOKING FOOR A SLEEPER MOVIE

I am looking for some of your sleeper movies. I am not into special effects movies. Seems like that is all they can make with all the super hero crap. Here are some of my favorite from the past.
October Sky, Something the Lord Made, Temple Grandin, original Walking Tall, Jeremiah Johnson, Legends of the Fall, and Almost Famous. All of these were fantastic stories with no special effects. Your recommendations can be older. Doesn't have to be recent.

A history of violence is one of my all time favorites. I would highly recommend it.

The Peanut Butter Falcon was good, and by your list you might like a series called "Godless" on Netflix.

I don’t like the super hero movies either. Seems like that’s all they want to make anymore. No comedies because they are afraid to offend someone

Apocalypto. Think Mel Gibson produced it. Was surprised at how good it was. Also, enjoyed the "Highwaymen" on Netflix.

Adam Sandler's latest movies are a whole new level for him and honestly some of his best movies ever. Really enjoyed Hustle and loved him in Uncut Gems but UG is definitely a style of movie you either get in to or you don't like. It's actually brilliantly done... it's constant chaos to your eyes and ears until it's not. Really a unique and reflective experience as a movie watcher. Zero CGI.
