Wonder what will become of the $5 mil. Will it go to victims or will the NFL use it to run ads telling men what not to do when hiring a masseuse?

This will not go to the victims. Most of the victims have already settled with their civil case.

This is a more fitting punishment than originally handed down, but still less severe than the average person might get in such cases.

The punishment is between a player and the NFL, nothing an "average" person would ever be subjected to anyway.
He's 100% wide open for anything criminal or civil. Anything done by the league has zero bearing outside of it.

Watson's fine and contributions from both the NFL and Browns of $1 million each will create a fund to support nonprofit organizations in the United States "that educate young people on healthy relationships, promote education and prevention of sexual misconduct and assault, support survivors, and related causes," the NFL said in announcing the settlement.

NFL fines are usually donated to charities.

yep,,, the whole deal was BS from the start and everybody knew it.. His "1st year" contract was structured for him to be suspended a year and basically cost him nothing. His "unpaid" suspension is only gonna cost him 632k which is his couch change.
5 mil fine and loss of pay while suspended and still the richest deal in NFL history. poor guy,,,,,,,

My favorite today is hearing the talking heads, former and current players as well as media hacks saying he deserves a second chance and how no one should be forced from the game over one situation. Hell he had like 30 second chances in this deal. Weird that none of them defended Gruden like that.

Watson allegedly asked for a rub and tug, 11 games and $5M

Kraft actually caught on camera soliciting a sex ring, not even a slap on the wrist.

Bingo! This whole thing is a joke. The NFL doesn’t care about what he did if they did he would be done. It’s all about the money!

He had like 30 separate incidents. Even the investigation called his actions predatory.

Hard to fathom that 30 women were sexually assaulted and not a single one of them are willing to see him go to Prison. The women I know would have seen it all the way through the Justice System. Seems the money aspect was first and foremost the brunt of the punishment these women wanted. Not saying he didn't do these things just seems odd not a single victim wanted Prison time.
