There is a few in our local town.
I passed one here in North GA recently. Didn't have a trailer hitch......
Reasons NOT to buy an electric truck at this time:
1. To expensive for your budget. (this fits me and many others)
2. You tow more than 70 to 90 miles at a time (this fits many BBC people)
3. You don't want to be an early adopter. (fits lots of people, me included)
4. You need to make multiple long distance trips per year and don't like the charge times (typically 40 to 60 minutes)
5. You don't have a home where you could setup a charging station. (say an apartment, townhouse, or such)
6. You just don't want one. Nothing wrong with this.
If none of the above items hinder you, an electric truck MIGHT fit your needs. Or if you can / do own another vehicle to cover
your requirements that the electric truck cannot cover, it Might be right for you.
All this being said, electric trucks will fit some people's needs and wants. More power to those who can adopt EV's now.
In 10 or 15 years I believe the technology will have improved enough to cover more people's needs. I like choices but no
vehicle fits everyone's requirements.
