    How about a carabiner D ring clip. You simply remove you broken clip and slip the D ring through the loop in the cord.

    I'm gonna change that, or add a carabiner on mine. The clip is a PITA to hook to an Omnia inflatable. Maybe I'll put the carabiner on the vest.
