    Classic Literature

    Anyone read the classics?

Ran out of books to read and I've been thinking about starting up on some of the classics and looking for recommendations.

    The Catcher in the Rye
    War and Peace
    Great Expectations
    Others?

Picture of Dorian Grey or Grapes of Wrath. The Jungle by Sinclair or Huck Finn by Twain. 20,000 leagues under the sea is a good recommendation

Don't know if they're classics or not, but I like stuff from Isaac Asimov. James A. Michener too.

Listen to the Ben Nichols album “The Last Pale Light In The West”. The whole album is inspired by Blood Meridian. If you ever watched The Walking dead, you’ll be familiar with the title track

Cormac is among my favorite authors; however, his writing style takes some getting used to.

That said, just finishing up the Saxon Series by Bernard Cornwell. Don't know that they're considered as "classics," but VERY good reads!
