How to stop Chrome from redirecting you to https

Well it went back to the same old crap after I posted that yesterday. Too many redirects. Very frustrating!! I'm using my wife's phone to post this.

FWIW, once I started having trouble, I switched to Firefox on my Windows 10 laptop and Microsoft Edge on my Android phone and I haven't had problems since. Occasionally, I'll try Chrome on both of those and neither works, still.

The problem that I have is that no matter what browser that I change to won't recognize my username and/or password. I've tried Edge, Firefox and Duck Duck Go.

Might be worth me changing your password to see if that fixes it. Send me a PM if you want to change it.

When I first started using Edge I had some issues with username/password. I had to delete browsing history and then it worked. I don't quite understand why but I only had that problem for a short period and not since. Probably something to do with how you respond to the prompt asking if you want Edge to save your password.
Never had a problem with Firefox.

try brave, easy and fast to use

or this on chrome


on chrome click on 3 dots to the rt. then setting, then privacy/security--then click on security about half way down screen-- under advance area, "use secure dns" in "with drop down" change drop box to "use with open dns" and restart after that

only way I found to make it work someone here posted this before also

I dont understand what is happening. Site is fine until I read 5 or 6 threads, then it switches to the crap. If I restart my tablet, it fine again. Then all over. I am working tru it but seems odd.

I had to replace my cell phone under warranty and was able to get the site displaying properly again nut now I have a different issue... each time I visit a board, I have to log back in, even though I have the "remember me" checked when I log in.

Anybody else had this issue?

Are you deleting your cookies? If so, that will log you out.

No, I'm not deleting the cookies. Still trying different things, but nothing makes a difference yet.

Firefox is working on my Pixel 6 with no problem.
I'm due to change my password anyway, so I'll try that on Chrome.

It's not a corrupted site, it's just what you'll see if your browser only takes you to an https site and not a http one.
