    Side marker trailer light

I have a Trailstar 2003 trailer and a side marker light is out. The current light has a mounting stud and two wires (power& ground). I cannot find that combination, everything with a stud mount has only one wire (power), so would I use a ring on the ground wire and connect it to the stud.

Wesbar makes one with a built in ground to the stud. You can also install a ring and ground to the stud. The Wesbar is available thru Eastern Marine and trailer. The part number is 3233 and stock number 5206027. These are the ones I use on my 2003 trailer. They are submersible. Hope this helps.

The two wire hookup will probably be more reliable in the long run. Use a ring terminal, grind a clean spot on the frame, use a pilot drill and follow with a self tapping bolt and a lock washer, then paint over it.
