Watched the race on Youtube. How worked his way up through the pack to win. Chalk one up for the Old Guys.
Was hoping Gravel would win but Donny drove a hell of a race and deserved it. PPM.s wreck was not good, think he’s been battling cancer and has some spine issue for what I read earlier. Hope he recovers soon.
Donny definitely knows how to get around Knoxville
It looked like the differential came up and got him similar to Kevin Swindell

One of the best 50 lap feature there in a long time, a lot of passing for the lead..
I was hoping Sunshine would have won off the front row..
To bad Logan Schuchart started so far in the back..
He was fast Wed Nite for the win..
Larson's right rear would have held up, could have been hard to beat..
greg88, you got a great race to down the street, the Ironman 55 is a Great Race at Pevely..
I don't remember what year it was... it was a long time ago... but I remember Doug Wolfgang in the old Singer 8D just blazing through D, C, and B mains to make the A. And he damn near won that.

I was in Knoxville in 08 or 09 and watched Donny win a championship. The man knows how to drive.
^^^^^^That's very cool. Steve was always my favorite!
I would loved to Steve & Karl in their prime go head to head with todays Outlaws..
I don’t think it would be good for today’s group, back in the late 80’s and 90’s was the best. Kinser was virtually unbeatable and Karl was the brains behind it. then you add Sammy, Wolfie, Bobby Allen Mark Kinser, Blaney they were all fast. Honerable mention to Hillenburg, Herrera, Jeff swindell .
We used to go to I-96 speedway west of Lansing Mi in the 80's. The WOO put on a show there. I think it was 30.00 for admission with a pit pass. You could walk right up and talk to those guys. Steve Kinser was the first one with an 18 wheeler semi. Most of the guys had the heavy duty trucks with a camper built in towing a trailer. They would sell shirts right out of the back of the trailer. Very low key. The life they led was crazy. One time they drove from Ohio to race then leave for a race in Texas 2 days later. They would run 15 second laps on a 1/2 mile which was 120 mph avg on dirt.
First official WoO race was at the Devils Bowl in mesquite Tx. No better racing in the world day in and day out.
