Where does this hole go to?

I was looking at my '2002 Cobra DC201 while putting in my drain plug , and the hole to the top right in the picture caught my curiosity, since the screened 2 othes go to my live wells.
Does anyone know what the purpose is for this hole? and what does it fill?
Thank you in advance to y'all for replying.

Funny thing. I’ve had my Cobra for 20 years and knew my boat had that but I’ve never given it any thought. Haha. Maybe it’s an intake for when “Fill” us selected in the live well system.

    Tom,
I thought that the other 2 were for the purpose of the livewell? since when I drain them water comes out from them.

I believe that is the overfill drain for the livewells. I could be wrong.

Very go point, though I don't know why the would have not routed it back to one of the other 2 holes.
I am sure that someone that has done a full rehab of the boat may chime in at some point.

Livewell overflow drain. It is just a gravity flow separate from your pump out.

How do you stop the livewells from filling up? I tried to put mine on recirc but they still fill up

    Here is according to Flow-Rite:

    By placing the rotary
actuator in the “RECIRC” position, outside water is prevented from
entering while the control valve continues to allow the pump to recirculate
    and aerate the livewell.

However, you are having the same issues as I have, but my system is leaking into my bilge as well. There is little flaps inside the control valve that can be rebuilt, but I am going for new everything being 20 yrs old.

I am going to be doing that soon, and I am really thinking of replacing the entire system with new parts to avoid later issues.
I like to do it once and be done with it.

I have an extra plug hole as well but I have a Coral that I just got, and my arrangement is different. It does seem to be connected to the flow-rite livewell system.
The previous owner had a plug in it. I have been wondering if he did it out of ignorance or maybe he did it because it was leaking or overflowing the live well.

This maybe a very stupid question but: Can I test this by just hooking up a hose to the drain and seeing if the live-well starts filling?

If you do, if you could take some pics and do a write up, I know people like we would appreciate it.

    Ron,
I am definitely going to do pictures and parts list for the entire system. I am going to contact Flo-Rite and have them tell me everything I need for my system, which they call Flow-Rite System 3.

I don't know about hooking a hose to the drain but you can fill the livewell and see if it starts overflowing out that hole.

    Tom,
I have verified that it is the overflow, and soon I will be doing the entire system over.
