    Motorguide 24v model 923310060

    Buddy picked up this unit. Question is what is the set screw with the white ring on the skag? What is its purpose?

    He is correct. It is suppose to keep Oxidation from occurring on the section behind the prop and the nose cone.
    Does not work to well near saltwater.
