    Bought a new Tracker

Hey guys I bought a new Tracker 195 TXW with a 150 Mercury ProXS.
Since this is my first Tracker Boat I am hoping to learn more about them from the people
who have experience 2BB49F00-3FEA-4263-8113-F62D3F5F9147.jpegand knowledge about them.37AB3746-BEB2-4BF2-94C4-602BAF13237F.jpegD0FC02FD-842C-4C21-9ED5-3681DE7537BE.jpegF139DC52-AC58-4E7C-AB68-E8FE69AEDDF3.jpeg
I learn how to do these pics with practice

Thanks Guys, I will do some more breaking in the motor this weekend.
I will probably be going to a 24 volt trolling motor soon after I try the Minncota Edge 55 12 volt system.

Don't even fool with the 12v motor. Get an Ultrex - the best accessory I've bought in 40 years of boat ownership.

Absolutely! It's nice being able to do what you need in the boat with the lake and wind rocking and rolling and never have to touch the pedal until it's time to move. When my Ultrex bites the dust I'm going 36v lithium with whichever brushless unit I replace it with. That's on a little 175txw, lol.

You must have bought a 2022 model the 2023 models come with a Minn Kota Maxxum 24v. When you replace the trolling motor which you will that 55lb 12v is way too small for the weight of that boat in any kind of wind the easiest way to get to the mounting bolts is remove the foot pedal tray also when adding a 3rd battery tray remember your gas tank goes under the factory battery tray so be careful where you screw into.

Yea; the 55 lbs. is not going to work. I had the Ultrex on my Z19 Nitro it is awesome. I probably will go with the 24 volt Ultrex. Thanks bassbama
for the information I am planning to do the upgrade myself.

I see some Lowrance units on there, may want to look into their Ghost trolling motor.

Nice, I have been looking at those, I would buy a used one if I found one for a good deal.

That is a beautiful rig. Love the 150 and the double axle. Great color combo as well.

Thanks all. Interesting thing the Dealer told me that the hull is so slick on these boats, that some people have dropped theirs on the boat ramp
backing down. I told him I have always loosened the winch strap about a foot max and then put it back in the lock position before backing down
the boat ramp to prevent that. Now I will always double check though.

Abbbsoooolutely.....my boat is similar in size, but, a bit heavier. I had a 12/55# thrust MG on it when I bought it. At the end of a long day pulling myself and 2 6'3" college kids around the positive post (on a brand new 31 Deep cycle, initial usage) melted....and the battery cable was rock solid, not loose. There was a 3/4" hole in the battery case.

Zero issues since with both a 24/45/80 Maxxum Pro or a 24/52/80 Ultrex....and my boat is considerably heavier today.
