How many AHs do I need to power an Apex 13 and a Solix 12 all day long?

Look up the amp draw for the graphs and multiply by how many hours of fishing you plan on using them for then add 10% for a buffer.

Call Drew at Drewcraft and get an Ionic 125 mah cranking battery. I run two 12” Helixes, two 10” Helixes, Mega Live, Mega 360, Power Pole Blades, JL stereo, phone charger and the lowest I have ever run it down was to 80% fishing 10+ hours and that was only because I didn’t run the big motor much as I stayed in the same area all day. It has an advanced battery management system so it will not overcharge or harm your boats on board charging system.

I run the Nextgen 100AH for an Apex 16, Solix 12, Garmin, 12, livecope, and 360. Haven't had an issue yet. Not sponsored by them or anything but also have their trollers and been issue free for 2 years now.

What voltages are you seeing on your units?

16v doesn't increase image quality. Been proven time and time again. The higher voltage does reduce amp usage so you will get longer battery life over a 12v with the same amp rating so thats a plus.

I think it’s more about having dedicated battery for my electronics because now I can clearly see my ned rig 60 feet out and I couldn’t before. I’m no expert but having 16 volts on three solix units verses 11 volts is a factor as well

125 AH Ionic. It has Bluetooth technology that tells you how much charge is left, I wouldn’t buy a battery without this feature anymore after having used it. It is my starting battery for a 250 HP Merc Pro XS, and runs 4-Solix 12s, Mega 360, Mega Live, 2 Raptors, Atlas Jack Plate, 2-Ethernet boxes, radio, livewell, and all other boat power needs like lights, etc. Don’t need a separate house battery with a 125 AH Ionic.

    5.8 amps total x 8 = 46.4 for an estimate.

I'm inclined to agree with you except for one thing. If your current battery setup had your units (especially Solix and Apex) running at sub 12V levels, then you might see some image improvement with 12V or 16V Lithium batteries since they keep the voltage above 12V for the entire charge.
