Adding a 2nd Unit to the bow

Im currently running a Helix 7 on the bow with XTM 9 wide 20 T transducer. I now have a Garmin Striker plus 7CV with the trolling motor transducer. Is there any benefit or suggestions for if I should run this unit on the bow as well? What benefits are there? And do I need it? Transducer is G20 TM.

You did not state the whole model name of the Humminbird transducer which is a XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T. That is a Down Imaging transducer that uses 83/200 kHz for 2D sonar.
The Garmin unit/transducer also has the same technologies but with 77/200 kHz for 2D sonar.

Whichever gives you the best down looking imaging and 2D sonar would be the best choice and use the other for GPS/mapping.

Having two displays allows larger views than squeezing multi-views on one display.
