    New Suzuki 150 "super six"

From 1986!! On Ebay right now. Type Sukuki Outboards. Supposedly its been in a showroom since 1986. What do you think the risk level would be? 😀

That is a long time for all sorts of gaskets and seals to dry out, not to mention all rubber components - hoses, impellers etc.

If it has truly been in a showroom, then I'd say it's pretty low risk. I would replace every rubber hose and the impeller tho. Make sure to replace fuel lines that can take ethenol.

    12 spark plugs......
One on the back of my '95 Charger. Solid motor...parts, places to get worked on, are scarce.
A goal without a plan is just a dream.

Suzuki stopped making 2 stroke parts and engine oil many years ago. Some places have limited parts. Motor is probably bullet proof. My 92 225 is still going strong. Lower unit parts are scarce. Just for piece of mind and inventory of parts I’ve bought a blown up 94 to scavenge from for 400 bucks. Two years ago swapped over to the Johnson/evinrude 2 stroke oil.
