I’m getting ready to have my Phoenix 921 carpet redone and was looking for carpet info. I’ve talked to a couple local guys and have gotten different responses, here’s what they recommended.
(1) 24oz carpet (claims no issues with lids opening and closing)
(2) 28oz basscat carpet (claims there shouldn’t be an issue with lids working properly)
Has anyone used either size? If so what we’re the outcomes?

I’d go 28oz and if the lids stick you can shave the carpet down on the sides.
With the thinner carpet lids open easier and it dries faster
