I have a 2018 18 TRX with a 200 Pro XS 4 stroke. It currently has a Mercury Tempest Plus 23P for a prop and the best RPM and speed I've gotten is 5800 RPM and about 64 MPH. It seems like I remember reading that the new 4 strokes are good to go up to 6200 RPM's. Anyone running the Tempest Plus 22P and if so what kind of performance are you getting. My PTP is about 2.50". Thanks in advance for any input I just want to make sure I'm getting everything out of the boat.
I have a 22 P Tempest Plus and with a tournament load I get 68.7 mph gps at 6000 rpms.

5800 is about all you’ll get out of a 23 but your speed is down from where it should be. The 22 overall is probably the best fit.
