What causes stitching on livescope returns?

I’m fairly new to livescope and the LVS 34 is my first. I pretty much have it figured out and it definitely is very useful. The question is the stitching, some days it’s worse than others. What causes this and is there any adjustments that can filter it out? Some days the bottom is completely flat and some days there’s the stitching. Thanks

Try adjusting the focus. I've seen that work.

Different water conditions can change many things. Summer thermocline. plankton, rain, time of day, current, etc

Absolutely. I have limited experience with the LVS 34 (just installed and only fished once), but it seems a bit more forgiving with less adjustments needed. Had to tweak the LVS32 constantly.
