Couldn't find a bass today, but this beast cooperated! That flutter spoon in the side of his mouth is about 4.5" long. Took about 10 minutes to get him to the top.

Caught this dog, I mean cat, on a drop shot finesse worm earlier this week.

Ive heard those flatheads are good eating. Never tried one before but based on looks I Wouldnt think it would be. But hey they say asian carp is great.

This was the largest catfish I've ever caught period! It was at least four feet long. I know the picture doesn't show the length well. This cat didn't want to come off the bottom. I was in about 24-25 ft of water. Medium heavy rod with 15 lb line. It pulled drag for about 3-4 minutes going back and forth alongside my boat. Pretty good fight!

Flatheads are great to eat, I like them better than channel cats.

Asian carp are fantastic. Incredible pain in the ass to clean, but it was some of the better tasting fish I’ve ever had.

Flatheads are the only catfish I really like to eat. I can eat just about any fish but channel cats are not my favorite by a long shot! I catch a flathead I eat it.

Flathead belly meat is my 2nd favorite fish to eat closely behind Crappie.
