Power for a bow mount depth finder

My boat has never had a depth finder on the bow (2011 175 TX). Do I tap into the trolling motor wires for power?

No. If they don’t put wires up behind the panel for future rigging or option add on, you’ll have to snake wire to the console or back to wherever your panel is. If you go to the trolling motor wires you’ll get interference.

^^^ This. I have a 2012 and the factory has the power and ground pre-wired under the bow panel.

Any extra circuit/s at the bow is inadequate for any electronics other than a simple basic unit.
