For the Guys that are running 4 units

Question for the guys that are running 4 Garmin units. Do you have them dedicated for a particular application?

I'm figuring I might be missing something because I only use 2 units, i.e. 126SV in the bow for S/D and Livescope and, 106SV at console hooked to a GT56 ducer (force TM and everything is networked).

Thanks in advance. After being with Lowrance for 20+ years and getting by with 2 small units, I'm still learning all the cool stuff with Garmin.

Im looking to add a 106SV to the console to use for 2D and Side Imagining. What transducer are you using to read at speed and where do you have it mounted?

    I have 3 units. Bow: 106,93 Console:126

Console is for everything, bow, 106 for LS and 93 for whatever else. I don't plan on anymore units.

I run four 93SV UHD's. Two on the bow (1 for livescope only and the other for mapping,2d,side and clea vu) Two on the console (1 dedicated mapping and the other for 2d,side and clear vu)

I wouldn't say you are missing anything but the dedicated screens are very very nice. If I could have afforded it my dream set up would be 4 126's. I am a huge fan of the four and really like dedicating the screen to one specific use. I came from 1 Humminbird 12 and 1 10 and my preference is the 4 9's.

    Thank you for the reply.
I have a new GT56 but seems like I should sell it and purchase the GT8 and Gt36 combo as it sounds like that is the best way to go.

2 10 Ultra's at console. When graphing one with Side Vu and other with Map then split with 2D and Clear Vu. 2 10's at bow. One with Livescope and other with map and 2D.

    93sv vs 102 or 106???

Are you satisfied with the 9" units?
I have a 102 for LS and getting ready to shed the lowrances and go with Garmin.
There is a huge price difference between the 9 & 10" units and $1K difference between 93sv & HDS9, so just wondering if the 93s do everything you need?

    TIA

I would be running two units up front and two at console, BTW. Currently have two HDS9s at console and one, beside the 102sv on bow.

I run two 943xsv's at the console. I split side imaging left and right between the units, on the bottom half of the units on is DI / 2D, and mapping on the other unit. I feel like its much easier to get away with smaller units at the console, especially when you can split the side imaging.

Up front I have a 1222 for livescope and I often split screen with a bit of mapping at the bottom. I have a helix 12 dedicated to 360. Debating adding a small unit up front for mapping only, not sure if the extra complication / wiring / power draw is worth it though as its not hard to split screen occasionally.

At this point I am really satisfied. Even tho they are smaller I really like the dedicated screens!!!
