Evinrude E-Tec 200 Lower Unit Issue

Hello All, I took My boat in to the shop a couple days ago because it had become very hard to shift the shifter into reverse, and forward, I was originally thinking it was probably just a Cable that was seizing up. The motor is a 2012 Evinrude E-Tec 200 HO, turns out it was supposedly my lower unit, Got a call from my Mechanic Earlier today and he said that when they checked out the Lower Unit oil it came out with a lot of pressure, and that there were chunks of metal in it, I have the Magnum II gear case I believe. Not sure if this is the right place to post or not but where could I find another Lower Unit Asap? The part number I need is 5009260 in Evinrude Blue. I’m very upset because up until Now The motor has never given me an issue, and a $6,000 part that I can’t even find and that is on back order everywhere I’ve looked isn’t making me feel any better haha

Look for someone parting out a motor.

i would also look for a good used 250hp take off trade in engine
