I've searched and am struggling on this one. I would like to overlay a .jpg photo on the chart screen of an HDS Live 12. This is a reservoir we fish that has a series of shorter trees which grew up at the shoreline during a low water period. Would like to import this pic so I know exactly were the trees are. I'm able to add a line in Google Earth for the shoreline and could also make waypoints or a line for the trees, but would REALLY like to import this image into the charting and fine tune from there. These trees/shrubs are now submerged and holding fish.
I spent a lot of time figuring this out last year, but haven't fooled with it since then. I will fire up my laptop tonight and see if I saved my notes.
One thing I recall is using a program to download the Google Earth imagery at multiple "zoom levels".
