What are the max vent, vent's used for

I have a CX18GTS. It has two little vent's. Behind the drivers seat on the fiberglass "max vent's" Anyone know what they are venting?

My CX20 Pro has a fan system for circulating air through the storage compartments. I believe the little vents are part of that.

They are for the livewell system, pumps etc. they were also on Tritons.

Thanks guys, I think maybe the live-well system. My boat does not have the fan system, the wires are there, but no fan.

They are air intake for the venturi effect when you run the recirc pumps. It sucks in air to aerate the water. They are also on Phoenix boats. Harry
